Auto Sales November 2025: India’s automobile industry reported strong November 2025 numbers across passenger vehicles, two-wheelers and tractors, with most major manufacturers posting double-digit year-on-year growth on the back of festive season demand, GST 2.0 reforms and improving rural sentiment.
Maruti Suzuki Reports Highest-Ever Monthly Sales
Maruti Suzuki India recorded its highest-ever monthly sales at 2,29,021 units in November 2025, which is 26.16% higher than the 1,81,531 units sold in November 2024. Domestic sales stood at 1,74,593 units, with 8,371 units supplied to other OEMs and exports touching a record 46,057 units.
Tata Motors PV Posts 25.6% Increase In Sales
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles delivered one of its strongest performances, posting 25.6 per cent year-on-year growth with total sales of 59,199 units compared with 47,117 units last November. Domestic PV sales, including EVs, rose 22 per cent to 57,436 units. International business volumes surged to 1,763 units from just 54 units last year, while EV sales jumped 52.1 per cent to 7,911 units.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor Wholesale Numbers Rise 19%
Toyota Kirloskar Motor said its wholesales rose 19 per cent year-on-year to 30,085 units in November, up from 25,182 units a year earlier. “Following a positive festive season supported by the government’s progressive GST reforms, we continue to witness a strong momentum, with a growth of 19 per cent,” said Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President, Sales – Service – Used Car Business. He added that new models such as the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition and Fortuner Leader Edition have strengthened the company’s growth trajectory.
Mahindra & Mahindra Posts 19% Rise In Sales
Mahindra & Mahindra reported a similar 19 per cent rise in total sales to 92,670 units. Passenger vehicle sales in the domestic market grew 22 per cent to 56,336 units, while domestic commercial vehicle volumes increased 17 per cent to 24,843 units. The company’s Farm Equipment Business sold 42,273 tractors in the domestic market, up 33 per cent from 31,746 units last year. Total tractor sales rose to 44,048 units, while exports increased to 1,775 units.
“This comes on the back of a strong growth of 27 per cent for the festive period of September & October 2025. There is positive sentiment among farmers with record production this kharif season & increase in rabi sowing acreage,” said Veejay Nakra, President, Farm Equipment Business. He added that GST rate cuts and higher MSP are improving farmer cash flows and boosting demand.
Hyundai Motor India Sales Rise 9.1%
Hyundai Motor India reported total sales of 66,840 units in November, up 9.1 per cent year-on-year. Domestic sales stood at 50,340 units, while exports rose sharply to 16,500 units, reflecting a 26.9 per cent jump. “Supported by GST 2.0 reforms, we continue to carry forward sales momentum,” said Tarun Garg, Wholetime Director & COO. He noted that the all-new Hyundai VENUE has crossed 32,000 bookings within a month of launch.
Bajaj Auto Sales Fall 1%
Bajaj Auto saw a marginal 1 per cent decline in domestic two-wheeler sales to 2,02,510 units, though overall wholesales including exports rose 8 per cent to 4,53,273 units. Total domestic sales, including commercial vehicles, grew 3 per cent to 2,47,516 units, while exports jumped 14 per cent to 2,05,757 units. Total two-wheeler sales (including exports) increased 3 per cent to 3,79,714 units.
TVS Motor Records 30% Growth In Sales
TVS Motor Company reported one of the strongest performances in the two-wheeler segment, registering 30 per cent overall growth with November sales at 5,19,508 units. Total two-wheeler sales grew 27 per cent to 4,97,841 units, while domestic two-wheelers rose 20 per cent to 3,65,608 units. Motorcycle sales surged 34 per cent, scooter sales grew 27 per cent, and EV sales jumped 46 per cent to 38,307 units. International business volumes climbed 58 per cent to 1,48,315 units. Three-wheeler sales grew an impressive 147 per cent to 21,667 units.
Escorts Kubota Sees 17.9% Sales Growth
Escorts Kubota posted robust tractor sales with 10,580 units sold in November, a growth of 17.9 per cent from 8,974 units last year. Domestic tractor sales rose 15.9 per cent to 10,122 units, aided by government incentives, lower GST on farm machinery, improving reservoir levels and strong rabi sowing progress. Exports nearly doubled to 458 units from 244 units a year earlier.
With strong festive demand, improved rural liquidity, GST reforms and new model launches across segments, November 2025 emerged as one of the strongest months of the year for India’s automobile industry.
