Branded ghee and cooking oil prices reduced nationwide at Utility Stores – SUCH TV

In a significant move, the Utility Store Corporation (USC) announced a notable reduction in prices for renowned ghee and cooking oil brands nationwide, effective immediately.

According to a spokesperson, the price of popular ghee brands has been slashed by Rs17 per kilogramme.

Additionally, the prices of cooking oil have witnessed a substantial decrease, dropping from Rs48 per litre to Rs37 per litre, as per a press release issued today.

Consumers can now purchase ghee at a revised rate of Rs482 per kilogramme, down from the previous Rs499.

Similarly, the cost of cooking oil has been adjusted to range between Rs422 and Rs470 per litre, providing a more budget-friendly option for consumers.

Other branded cooking oils will now be priced at Rs518 per litre, a considerable reduction from the previous Rs555.

This move is expected to bring relief to consumers grappling with rising prices.

The Utility Stores Corporation seems committed to enhancing the convenience of the general public and is actively exploring further measures to reduce prices across a spectrum of essential items.
