Ariana Grande is speechless after winning three major awards at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards on September 7.
The Wicked star reportedly won the prestigious Moon Person statue for video of the year for her song, Brighter Days Ahead from her new album.
Interestingly, Ariana also earned the award for Best Long Form Video for the same song as well as she received Best Pop Artist award.
After winning the accolades, the Eternal Sunshine crooner shared heartfelt note to her fans on her Instagram Story.
In the caption, the 32-year-old wrote, “I don’t have words… For now, just thank you,” along with a half photo of herself.
Ariana, who attended the VMAs event after seven years, gave her honest take on her seventh album on stage.
Earlier in her acceptance speech, the singer mentioned that art “has been a safe space for me since I was a kid”.
Ariana is “grateful” that she gets to do this with her life and to “have such fiercely loving and supportive fans”.
The singer revealed that her latest album conveys the message of “the hard work that is healing all different kinds of trauma and coming home to our young selves and creating safety in our own lives, which is a lifelong process and a daily exercise”.
“If you’re on that journey, please continue onward because I promise there are brighter days ahead,” added the songstress.
