Prince William issues strict terms for Prince Harry’s possible return

Date:

Prince William, who has been estranged from his younger brother Prince Harry in their four-year long feud, is not keen on welcoming back his only sibling into the royal fold.

Despite the Duke of Sussex making a dash to meet their cancer-stricken father, King Charles, the Prince of Wales currently has no plans to reconcile with Harry.

Moreover, as Harry hinted at more frequent travels to his home country amid the monarch’s heath condition, speculations over Harry resuming his royal duties also emerged.

However, William is adamant on keeping his brother away as he will not be entertaining the idea of his return.

“There’s no way that the Prince of Wales will wear it,” a royal source told Express.co.uk.

“Harry may well want to step back into a royal role but as far as his brother is concerned nothing has changed.”

The source also noted that Prince William, who took a break from royal duties to support ailing wife Kate Middleton, has “enough on his plate at the moment.”

“His father is being treated for cancer and his wife is recovering from abdominal surgery. He simply doesn’t have the bandwidth for this,” the insider said.

Previously, sources close to William told The Mirror that he would take on more duties himself if needed while as he believes Harry and Meghan “cannot be trusted.”

“It is absolutely and categorically clear that he would not allow Harry to return. There is a zero per cent chance Harry is coming back in any capacity,” the source stated.
